We said bye to the first car that Lance and I purchased together. We were lucky to sell it as quickly as we did. Fortunately, people are trying to find smaller more economical cars.

So now we are a mini van family. Lance was dead set against a mini van. I finally convinced him that it just made sense (something I don't do very often).  My dad drove with me to Rock Springs WY. to go pick it up. Thanks dad!

My parents came out for a visit a few weeks ago and the boys were in heaven.

Trips to McDonalds, Home Depot, the airport and just hanging out with Grammy

and Grandpa. The airport was especially fun. It was really busy that day and we

saw lots of take offs and landings, a few helicopters and Darren and Cordon even

got to sit in the cockpit of an airplane.  It was a blast and they totally loved it.

So I have been tagged by Ashlee.  Lets see if I can do this right.

TEN YEARS AGO.....

I was home from BYUH and moved into my first apartment with

the most possesive psychopathic roomate ever. 6 months later I

got the heck out of there.  That was my first experience working

full time, living on my own and paying my own bills. I learned a lot.

Any quiet moment,  a day with no injuries, a day that nothing is totally destroyed in our house (broken lamps, toilets, floods in the kitchen, sharpie on furniture, etc.), Listening to the funny things that kids say, scrapbooking, dancing, hiking, dressing up and looking nice.

Whoever decided that spaghetti O's  were a kid friendly meal?  PB&J is slightly less messy so I

O and I had to post this pic of Darren and Cordon who were able to coordinate one milisecond

sitting and posing together. Probably won't happen again for a while.

we changed our minds

So our little girl turns out to be a boy.  Ill have to put off ballet slippers and pink ribbons.  We are going to save a bundle now that I don't have any shopping to do (well except for diapers and formula).  Lance is very excited to be that much closer to having his own basketball team.  For me I will just be glad to survive the next few years with a house that is still standing and no serious injuries.

We had a fun afternoon of sledding.  Lance got the most enjoyment.  Cordon is like me and doesn't like the cold and freezing hands.  Darren wasn't too into it until Lance let him go down the hill by himself.  Then he didn't want to leave. 

Still at it

just to let you know that a year later we are still potty training.  And by the way things are going Cordon will be using the toilet before his older brother.  Any tips for a boy that not only doesn't care that he wet his pants but he really doesn't even notice either.
